Wow: This conjures up all sorts of questions. First, the mentos/coke: What ever happened to Pop Rocks and Coke? Rememeber the urban legend of Mikey (a la "Life" cereal fame) eating Pop Rocks and Coke and dying b/c his stomach exploded from this "deadly combination." Well, I'm living proof that this doesn't happen (although I did have a BAD experience with Wit bier and gummy bears..on the can for well over an hour..no I'm not kidding). And, despite my advanced years, I'd even advance to the mentos/coke challenge....no, don't try to stop me. and don't worry, I'm a professional....

I just realized that on my first post, I mentioned multiple questions...so Here's the 2nd question, or rather the idea, pertaining to Zarqawi. Granted, it's not original, but it struck me as interesting, and I'd like to use the Chef Mojo forum as a testing ground, because I'm family. While listening to Glen Beck the other morning, he mentioned Gen. Jack Pershing's use of pig skin-wraped dead Muslim insurgents as a means of detering more attacks against occupational forces in the Middle East. His troops would wrap slain Muslim insurgents in pig skins so their souls wouldn't make it to Heaven ( Granted this was post-WWI era, but I see the point and can imagine the effectiveness). I wonder if the same would hold true today, and, whether or not we should use such tactics. What do you think? I personally think that most people would consider it "benethe us" That it might fit into the same realm as cutting off the ears of dead VC during Vietnam, or torturing the families of those insurgents killed and then 'shamed" by entombment in pig skin. It really isn't going to quell any rebellious nature. Muslims will find a reason that non-believers don't effect "true believers"
ascension to heaven. I think it raises more problems than it solves, especially in this day and age. I just think it's a funny thumbing-of-the-nose at religious fanatics in general.
